Holy Hour - each month we provide a led Holy Hour concluding with Benediction of the Blessed Sacrament in Our Lady’s Church. This takes place on the last Sunday of the month at 4pm. The more we spend time with the Lord in the Eucharist the more we are opened up to experiencing the Lord in our day to day lives and encountering him in one another. As we gaze upon Jesus in the Eucharist, He gazes back upon us, looks into our hearts, heals our past in the present moment and shows us our future in the heart of God’s Kingdom. Christ’s abiding presence in the Eucharist always invites and calls us to a deeper service of the Gospel enabling us to not only become what we have received in Mass, but draw strength to live as Christ’s followers.
Welcome to Our World – is an opportunity for us to not only welcome God into our lives, but also for us to be welcomed into God’s world. This time of prayer, praise and silent reflection is an opportunity for each of us to find new ways of praying and of deepening our relationship with God. It takes place the last Monday of each month at 7pm in St. Gregory’s church.
Seasonal Opportunities - there are many other ways in which we gather to find and know our God throughout the year, often these take place as the seasons change and the new church Liturgical Season leads us to contemplate a particular aspect of the life of Christ. During Advent there are Reconciliation Services, Advent Services of Carols and Holy Hours. In Lent we have Stations of the Cross in both our churches which are advertised regularly and updated in our newsletter.
