Children's Liturgy of the World

During term time in St Gregory's church, our children leave mass, accompanied by our Catechists (fully DBS cleared and trained) to hear the Word of God in a liturgy more suited to children.

The catechists proclaim the readings and then discuss with the children the theme of the day, making it age appropriate and using all kinds of activities to engage the children. These may range from art, music or drama. The children return to mass and their families at the offertory procession.

At various times of the year we have particularly 'Children Led' masses and service where the children remain in church.

We also attend the Diocesan Celebrate the Child mass each year, and enjoy our own Parish Procession, Open air mass and garden party.

The different children’s events are marked by the Church's liturgical seasons.

Virtual children's mass every Sunday at 10am.
